时时博官网Castable refractories: Calderys castables, composed of dry aggregates and a binder, are suitable for all industries (e.g. CALDE® CAST, ACCMON, or TAICAST product ranges) though our ALKON® CAST range is specially designed for aluminium contact.
Gunning materials: refractory castables transported through flexible hoses to the installation position, where the materials are wetted and projected through a handheld nozzle at the target area (e.g. CALDE® GUN range, ACCGUN in India, or TAIGUN in Asia Pacific). Dry gunning allows to operate farther away from the feed station, though wet gunning (see shotcreting below) offers a faster output rate. Calderys can offer gunning machines for your next refractory installation – contact our experts时时博官网 for more details.
时时博官网Low cement, self-flowing products: castables that can move behind forms and around anchors in difficult to reach areas leading to a great advantage in installation. In addition, these self-flowing or pumpable castables may be transported to high elevations via shotcreting. Product ranges include CALDE® FLOW or FLOWMON for the Indian market.
Spraycasting or shotcreting
SPRAYCAST products: combining the technical qualities of a cast material with a gunning installation method (e.g. CALDE® SPRAYCAST line). The application of moulds is avoided, giving spraycast (a.k.a. shotcrete or wet gunning) installation the advantages of cost, time and labour savings.
时时博官网Refractory plastic mixtures: consisting of moistened aggregates that can be rammed into place with an air & electric hammer (as in: CALDE® RAM line).
时时博官网Dry refractory materials: can be installed in powder form without addition of water or liquid chemical binders directly onto a heat source. DRY materials are usually placed by ramming or vibration and are very useful for fast repairs, or even initial installation or complete relining of all types of induction furnaces or EAF furnaces (e.g. CALDE® MAG DRY range of Dry Vibrating Mix or DVM).
时时博官网PATCH products: ideal for fast and easy repair of worn linings, especially in the Foundry industry (as in: CALDE® PATCH line).
时时博官网PLAST product line: Similar installation as ramming materials, though plastics are softer and packed as slices in a box (rather than shipped in a drum). The main applications for plastic materials are in Steel and Reheat Furnaces (e.g. CALDE® PLAST range).
时时博官网STIX product line: Dry materials, ready to use after mixing with water. Installation similar to PATCH materials but used for thicker repairs (e.g. CALDE® STIX range).
时时博官网HYRATE product line: plastic materials with good thermal shock resistance that can be applied via gunning, resulting in a large increase in the rate of application of these materials over the traditional ramming method.
